It is your job to keep your flames burning! It is your job to keep your fire alive. It is your job to rise up!

Every time you feel that urge, that kick, that nudge, and that yearning, to do something extraordinary, or more precisely, something that you know is being divinely inspired within you, what or who keeps you from acting on, or fulfilling that purpose and inspiration?

It is time for you to get into motion, it is time for you to move from where you are now, to where you ought to be tomorrow.  In order to make this happen, there must be movement on your part, not stagnation. You must formulate a plan, gather your tools, with zeal and with passion. It is time to strategically place yourself to take off and take flight from where you are to where you are supposed to be. It’s time. It is your job to rise up.

What tactics do you have in place? What type of people are you surrounded by, and what do they really do for your mind, soul, body and spirit? Will they pull you down, tell you it’s impossible, or will they build you and support you? What kind of energy are they emanating towards you? Will they assist you, can you trust them, can you share parts of your dream with them? Should you even mention it to them? Who can you work with to take your flight? Will they rejoice for you when it is your time to shine? Will they equip you with what you need to propel forward?

Fulfilling your dreams and purpose is a deliberate pattern with planning and timing. Every flight needs something turned on, something switched on. But every time you try to take your flight, there are things that plague you, pull you back and pull you down. Why not connect with God and see what power you are really made of? You might just be blown away and realize what you have been missing all these years!

“Strive to make the brave choice. Look at the root of the problems and troubles and torment raging within you. Take your eyes off what others are doing to you and focus on cleaning yourself up and growing beautifully.” ~The Reminder: Quiet Power, Peaceful Confidence

Take flight from self inflicted abuse.

Take flight from violation and abuse at the hands of others.

Take flight from low self-worth.

Take flight from finger-pointing and blame.

Take flight from being a victim of others and your own self-destructive habits and behaviors.

Your time is here!  It is your job to rise up and take off!

Wait! Don’t Throw in That Towel!

We all need power. Not the kind that belittles and abuses others, and not the kind that idolizes the self, but the kind that builds us up and encourages us in a positive way. We need the type of power that brings healing and wisdom, encouraging us and transforming us into better people, empowering us to rise above every form of insecurity, hurt and pain. Empowered this way, we can in turn be a blessing to other people.  It is the type of power that says you don’t need fame, masks, facades, aggrandizement, or material wealth to be deemed successful. Rather, your success lies in knowing who you are, loving yourself, finding your purpose, and soaring in it.

Millions have sickness taking over them. Millions are putting on smiles that they do not feel in their heart, soul and spirit. Millions are carrying indescribable pain and heartbreak. Millions are sinking into darkness, too weak to fight back. Millions are becoming their own worst enemy as they seek ways to cope with their insecurities, tragedies, anger, bitterness and confusion. Millions are suffering from agonizing emptiness and loneliness.

What if I told you that there is One who sees and feels your torment? Would you test God’s kind of power for your own sake, for your own personal deliverance? Would you dare to cry out to Him and ask for help? Would you at least try just to ensure that you are not losing out? During my tangible and palpable moments with God, I remember feeling a sense of power rise up within me. It empowered me to keep pushing through, no matter what obstacle or challenge was presented to my emotional and traumatic state of mind. When trust had been broken, when I had been verbally, emotionally, physically and spiritually abused, and when many made me feel worthless, God’s power would not let me throw in the towel and die!

His power made me feel and know that I am valuable and precious. I felt, and still feel, that there has to be more to me, that my life is not a mistake, and that I am here for a purpose, for a reason. I felt that I was being gradually healed, that the anger, trauma, bitterness, prejudice, bias, stigma, and any feelings of guilt, shame, and worthlessness were peeled away. I learned not to limit myself to believing that all I have is my carnal human nature, but that there is divine power residing within me.

I then realized that my soul, mind and spirit wanted, no, needed, a power that is consistent, strong enough for me to hold on to, wise enough to guide me through the storms, and anchored enough to see me through any darkness.

How about you? What do you want for your soul, mind, heart and spirit?

What Have You to Lose?

So many of us want to be set free from our shackles, our vices, our insecurities, and the things that have taken over our lives and easily weigh us down, paralyzing us from fulfilling all our potential and from using our natural talents and abilities. Many of us want to love and be loved, filled with a surplus of joy and indescribable peace. Deep down we want to be rescued from our own self-destructive behaviors. We want to be set free from the damage caused by rejection, violation, stigma, prejudice, and put-downs that have been inflicted by the hands of others. We have tried so many avenues, and some appear to work for a while, but when we find ourselves searching again for the next new solution to our problems, troubles and torment.

Can we take on a love that knows exactly who we are really, and what we are really capable of? Can we handle the kind of unconditional love that knows the vices we hide in the dark, the rottenness that eats our souls, the ugliness and bad habits that lie within, the deceit and manipulation behind the lies that we wield, the anger, the bitterness, and the pain we have grown accustomed to? Knowing all this about us, God’s love still says to us, “What does it matter? I love you anyway.  Come let us spend time together. In fact let’s not stop there. Would you like to be delivered and healed from the burdens you carry?”

I don’t know how desperate you are to be whole, to have another chance in life, to be rid of whatever torments you and makes you shrivel when nobody is watching, but I would take the chance at that unconditional love. What have you gained by not accepting it? Why not take a chance and see if He really works, if He really can get rid of the shackles and chains around your mind, your soul, your spirit?

God is so simple, so uncomplicated. He just wants to have a beautiful relationship with us, His creation. Yet we reject Him, and all that He has to offer to our precious souls. We tap into people around us, into family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances. We tap into drugs, our intellect, technology, our own devices, schemes, and human intelligence. We tap into anything and everything except the power that saw it fit to make us the unique, special, valuable and precious souls that we are. What have we to lose, if we were to tap into God’s unconditional love?

Do you need real assistance? Try  the living God’s unconditional love, wisdom, power and deliverance. What have you to lose? You have everything to gain by losing those chains and shackles.
