Before Time Began Divine Purpose Knew

Think about your life for a minute. Who are you today? Where did you come from? How will your life end? Before time began, there was a divine plan for you. Before your mother and father met, you were already formed. The condition and situation you are in right now, does not take God by surprise. Everything you are, everything you own today, was known, before time began. You might be surprised, but before time began, divine purpose knew everything, everything, about you. The question is, how much do you know about yourself?

Wait, take a deep breath, don’t be too quick to respond or answer. Don’t be hasty. What do you really know about yourself? Who are you? Hmmm…, you might think and assume you know, but I politely challenge you, I don’t think you do, not if you are being honest with yourself. But I can assure you that before time began, the divine purpose in you knew and still knows the plans of its creator and your creator. It has known before time began, before you came out of your father, and were formed in your mother’s womb, even before she delivered you and you had your first cry announcing your arrival. Before time began, divine purpose knew you had to be born and sent to this world.

Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” ~Isaiah 43:7 (ESV)

When you look into the mirror of your mind and heart, what reflects back at you? Most likely the image of the version of yourself that you and the people and things that have influenced your life. But I fearlessly and with conviction submit to you, that there is another you, formed before time began, and that purpose that keeps nudging you, that voice, that keeps reminding you, was created with you and in you before time began. It knows and is aware of the truth, that God incubated you in Him, with all His power, glory and majesty. You are divine royalty, the image of God, carrying His magnificence and His light. How long do you think you can hide for? Before time began, you were created for a reason, fulfill it. You have everything it takes, it was all there, before time began.

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. ~Matthew 5:14-16 (NLT)

Like it or not, accept it or not, yield to it or not, we have a heavenly Father who knows us by name as well as by nature, because He formed, created and master crafted us into being. We all came out in different color, shapes and sizes, but what is the same is that our Father breathed His life into us, and He built each of us with divine purpose. What is not different, and will remain the same is that He looks upon each of us as His children who carry His divine light, to show forth His glory and power. The true problem is that we don’t accept, acknowledge and function in His good intentions and the way He sees us. Before time began He built us for a glorious future.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.~Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV)

God, our Father in Heaven, has known us before time began. He created us to walk as princes, as gods on this Earth. We have turned away from that, we have forgotten, ignorantly or deliberately, gone our own way and chosen our own paths, and we, the world and creation is suffering because we have refused to yield our journey on Earth to our Father and His divine purpose in us. Hard truth, tough realization, nevertheless, it is the truth. We are supposed to live, and move and have our being in Him and only Him.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. ~Genesis 1:27 (ESV)

For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ ~Acts 17:18 (NLT)

Think about it, picture this, at least try to, don’t just brush it off. Before time began you were formed by Divinity, not simply flesh and blood as you see it or have been taught. Do you get that? Stay with that thought for a minute, think about nothing else, and see what happens to your mind and heart, with just this thought, “I was formed before time began, by God, in His image, to walk this Earth as a prince, as a god.” If only in all our getting we will get understanding and wisdom. We would be the better for it. We, our families, friends, colleagues, communities, neighborhoods and the world as a whole, would be the better for it. The whole Earth is waiting for us to be gods.

But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth. ~Exodus 9:16 (ESV)

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. ~Romans 8:19 (NIV)

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field...~Psalm 8:3-8 (ESV)

Before time began, there was a plan in place, specifically and masterfully planned out, for just you and for just me, and for how we will uniquely and collectively, influence and impact our world, as gods. Will we take dominion over the Earth as gods and rule? Will we yield to that plan? Will we open up to it’s wisdom, guidance and love? Who do we want to live as? Who do we want to die as? What do we see? What do we understand? What plan and agenda will we follow and manifest? What we fill our minds with is what we will manifest. I would love to be a god on this Earth, but according to God’s plans and purpose for my life. I pray that I reach that level of manifestation. I always wonder what it would be like to live life every day in the full realization and manifestation of being a child of the Most High. It’s one thing knowing that it is possible, it’s another thing living and walking in the reality of it.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. ~Proverbs 1:7 (ESV)

I say, ‘You are gods; you are all children of the Most High. But you will die like mere mortals and fall like every other ruler.” Psalm 82:6-7 (NLT)

God’s purpose in us knows who we are and whose we are, trouble is, we don’t. I don’t want to die like a fool, do you? There is only one way to find out. Come to Jesus. It’s as simple as that. if you want to walk as a god on this Earth, if you want to walk in the understanding of your true image and form, come to the One who created you and who died for you so that you can walk on this Earth as a god, as was the plan, and still is the plan, before time began. We cannot escape it. We can accept it and walk in His unlimited glory, or we can deny it and walk in our own limited philosophies. Which do you think will benefit us the most? I plan on discovering God’s plan for me before time began, for my life. I believe there is one, for all of us. Will you find out for yourself, His plan before time began, for you?

Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. ~2 Timothy 1:9 (NKJV)

What a magnificent plan, His divine plan for us, before time began.

Divine Purpose Will Not Settle For Less

Photo by Mustafa ezz on Pexels.com

Determination. The pursuit of purpose. The hunger to fulfill destiny, the passion to fulfill purpose, once discovered, are all consuming. It’s like being in love, but now it’s even deeper because now it’s being in love with God and the unfolding of His divine purpose, and following His blueprint for our lives. It becomes very difficult to focus on anything else. One develops a craving for His Presence, His instruction, His unconditional love and faultless guidance and direction. One prepares him or herself to run the race to the end. We become zoned in, thirsty for more; we thirst to hear His voice, our hearts beat with the question, “what next LORD?” We are yielded, not knowing all the answers yet fearless, strengthened by faith, empowered by conviction, filled with the truth that He will never leave us nor forsake us. We will not turn back, we hold fast to Him, nothing else can take His place. Many voices can speak, but we only want to hear His voice. People will counsel us, give us their thoughts, give us their wisdom, but we always turn back to Him our God and our Maker, and ask, “but what do You say, Father? I will wait to hear your voice.” And we wait for him, even when it hurts, because we know that His response, will take away every discomfort, will bring the glory of His Presence, will usher in His divine intervention and provision. We will not settle for less, because we have known Him, tasted Him, touched Him and seen Him. We know that He is real. We know that He is our peace, our joy, our salvation, our life. And we know that His purpose in us will not settle for less, but all of Him.

Sometimes, in our humanity, we might cave in to the battles of life, but He certainly will not give up on us. We know that it is impossible for Him to start a thing and not finish it. He always completes what He begins, and so we hold on, no matter what, steadfast, immovable, because we know Whom we believe, Who we trust, Who gives us breath to pursue, conquer and overcome. We develop and gradually change from our carnal nature and senses, and we melt into Him, looking forward to transforming into our original form, created by His hands and breath, becoming more like Him, thinking, talking and walking more like Him, in a world that rejects everything about Him. But we do not stop, even when we are seen as weird, strange, stupid, idiotic, we will not settle for less. We know what we carry , what we have experienced in Him, and there is no turning back. We surrender, even with our troubles, imperfections, shame, guilt and insecurities. We have faith and understanding that He will work on us and walk us into perfection. We are His and He is ours, and His love is sweeter than wine. He will love us to very end and finish His work in us, and so we yield, waiting breathlessly for Him. We refuse to settle for less. We want Him, need Him, hunger for Him to fulfill His divine plan and purpose in and for our lives. We are convinced that He will come through. And He will.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. ~Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

We know, understand and believe that God will come for His treasure in us, and that that treasure will settle for nothing less than His touch and instruction. One can hold back and not let Him in, or can open his or her mind and heart and let Him in to start His beautiful, wonderful, magnificent work, in one’s life. This is work beyond imagination, beyond human power, wisdom, thought, idea, science or philosophy. How can we possibly know more than the One who created us? Is it possible to be wiser than Him, to know better than Him? How does that make sense, at all? We are fighting a losing battle. At the end of the day, He will get the praise, He will get the glory. You can join in, in that praise and that glory, or you can live a life never knowing, never experiencing the better part of you, formed and created by Him, filled with His purpose and victory! As for me, as for us out there who get it, we will relentlessly pursue Him until we can declare His praise, giving in to Him second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, week by week, month by month, and year by year. He is unending, infinite, we want more of Him. We have discovered that true divine purpose will not settle for less. It wants all of Him, and gives its all to God. True purpose will yield to its Maker and the Giver of its life. It will not rest until it brings glory and praise its original creator, God.

The people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise. ~Isaiah 43:21 (ESV)

True purpose knows that it is not man-made. It knows the character of its Manufacturer. It knows Who gave it breath and brought it to life, and is lying deep within you, within all of us, waiting to fulfill our lives, waiting to shine through us, and waiting to show off God’s glory and how worthy He is. Purpose understands what it means to give God all the glory, honor and power. It lives for that, and when we accept and understands this, our yearning turns toward God, and a never ending hunger and thirst to fulfill His purpose, to show His Light, to show His glory, develops inside us and takes over us. It costs us nothing to worship Him, in fact we cannot live without telling Him of His faithfulness, His mercy and His power. We give in, because true divine purpose, will not settle for less. It must worship God, it must reveal and boast of His goodness. It must make God shine, it must give Him all the glory. He is worthy!

And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” Revelations 4:9-11 (ESV)

Ah, I am at a loss for words right now, as I write. How does one describe purpose that will not settle for less and yearns only for God and the things of God? With what words do I even begin to explain what it is like when one discovers that he or she has been created, chosen and predestined, to fulfill God’s plans for their lives? In my humanity, I am limited, words fail me. I don’t think I can fully describe what it is like to be totally and completely yielded to God and His divine purpose. You have to experience it, and I hope that you choose to do so, my dear friend. God will keep coming to you, will keep reminding you and will continue to wait for you to come to the knowledge of, and to yield to, who you really are. I pray that you allow your free-will to submit to His unconditional love, and permit Him to perform His works of restoration and transformation in and through you.

Chosen one, choose His divine purpose and blueprint and system, not the agenda, ideologies, philosophies and systems of Man. Those will fail you, and you know it. For your deepest satisfaction and profound joy and indescribable peace, choose His Divinity, His ways, and live the kind of life that words fail me to describe. That you feel so lost, insecure, unworthy, ashamed, depressed, restless for more, indicates that the God-created purpose inside you wants to come out. It wants to show you who you are to God. It’s tired of settling for less, lying dormant within you, mediocre and wasting away. You are feeling the way you are because true purpose that will not settle for less is burning inside you like fire and wants to come out, wants to be released to spread and do what it came to do. It won’t stop, it won’t go away, it’s inside you. You can staunch it, ignore it, try to fill your life with material ad man-made things, with all kinds of theories and actions, all kinds of behaviors and vices, but you cannot beat r conquer God’s divinity. You cannot ever completely quench the passion of divine purpose yielding to its Maker and its burning thirst to accomplish it’s purpose on this Earth, through you. It will fight you, in order to fulfill its quota. It will not settle for less. Stop fighting it. Give in to it and stick with it. Nothing else will do. Don’t settle for less.

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. ~Ephesians 1:11-12 (NIV)

God has a hope for you and for His glory. Don’t fight Him. You can try, but it’s useless. He will fulfill that hope. Permit His purpose in you, and for you, to blossom. Divine purpose in us will not settle for less. We are built with it, to carry out God’s plans for our lives, and the lives of others. It is determined to not fail God, you or the world. Are you? it knows why it’s here. Do you know why you are here?

Grow. Grow. Grow.

Grow. What is holding you back? What is fueling your stagnation? What is influencing your sudden unbelief? What is distracting you from God’s Spirit and teachings?  What has moved you so strongly that you would deny God? What could possibly be worth it? I can understand that in our humanity we get angry and upset with God. His ways are beyond our comprehension and His methods are too mysterious for our senses and human form to bear. I understand how scary that can be. But what really is persuading you away from God? Who is making you think otherwise about God?  What must have happened to you?  Even though you have tasted of His glory, basked in His Presence, and have had undeniable encounters with Him, you have had decided to withdraw from Him. What is elevating itself above God in your heart and thoughts? You never used to be this way. It’s time for you to turn around and grow.

I know, His cup is not easy to drink from, but remember, that cup comes with His Presence, grace, mercy, unconditional love and faithfulness. Is it a new job? Perhaps you are disappointed about something you think He should have done for you, but you are still waiting, so you are angry? Come on, you know it’s not like that. You know that He works with precision and that when His timing and the reasons why He does not do a thing are different from what you want, it is all about the purpose for your life and it’s all for your own good. You know very well that all that God does is for your betterment, not to harm, to hurt, injure, wound or damage you. His intentions and motives are always in your best interest. Where is your faith? Where is the depth of your love for Him? What happened to your trust in Him? Unless of course, you only wanted His miracles and signs and wonders, and not the knowledge and the fullness of who He truly is. Perhaps you wanted to enjoy the goods and now thinking that you have it all anyway, you reject The Giver of those goods. God is not your magician. What really matters more to you? Who God is, or are you only excited about what He can do for you? You know better. Grow.

Let me take another guess. Maybe you have a desire you want to pursue, but it is not the way or the will of God for your life. You are aware of His purpose for your life, you have discovered and tasted it, but now you want to make decisions for God about His purpose and blueprint which He originated and authored for your life. You very well know that you’ll need Him to bring it to its full power and glory, yet you want to run with it, and do with it as you please, away from its actual Source and Creator. You want to call the shots. How is that going to work? You are not wasting His time, you are wasting yours, because you know that His divine purpose in you cannot manifest in its true magnificence without Him. The path you have taken will lead to a dead end of unfulfillment, discontentment, and unsatisfaction. Divine purpose in you will cry out for its Maker, will yearn for His breath, will long for His touch, wisdom and power. Stop wasting your time. Grow.

You cannot work God’s Blueprint your own way. You are not ignorant to the truth that it is what He says and declares that will stand. He might even allow you to dance around a little bit in your rebellion. He is wise and patient and knows that even in your rebellious state, there are lessons you will learn from the experiences of your temporary rebellious condition. Your plans to turn away, to do as you want, to remain comfortable in the zone and level you are currently in, are useless but you are still pursuing them. As if you can fight God. It won’t last, and you know it. Once you have experienced God’s Divinity, you can’t go back to the way you were or the way things were. It will not work. Nothing will work outside Him. It would have been better to have not known God, than to come to the knowledge of Him and try to disconnect yourself completely from Him. That’s the simple truth.  Not too long from now, you will begin to feel a painful emptiness, the beginnings of a life filled with the incessant cry of your spirit, for Him and only Him. It will happen, it’s just matter of time. And when you come back to Him, He’ll let you know that He never missed a beat watching over you, even in your rebellious state. You can deny it, but you know you are missing Him and that life will never be the same without Him. It can’t, won’t be, because what can you possibly exchange for Him. What? Grow.

Listen, you are not doing anything new under the sun. Many of us have done the same. We have gone astray, sometimes ignorantly, sometimes on purpose, either through another’s influence, or by our own free-will.  There are times when we have turned from God because we want to enjoy life, or so we say, we want to belong, or so we think, and we can fulfill our divine purpose our way with our own methods, strength and wisdom. Well, speaking for myself, I can tell you, I learnt hard, I learnt painfully, that it is indeed better to go through life with God than not. Now I want Him every second in my life, watching over every single step, every single decision. I want to be in the very center of His will, basking in His love, yielding to His Presence, no matter what I feel, think, hear, see, or what life brings. I’d rather be in His hands than the hands of Man. I would rather my mind, heart and spirit be in His care, than in the care of Man. Trust me, lessons well learnt! I am happy that, by His grace and mercy, I am still alive today, alive to tell you that of a certain, it is better to yield to God than your own wisdom, or to Man, or to the things of this world. Don’t bow to them, it’s not worth it. Grow. Grow, in Him. Grow.

Where is your certainty of Him? What shook the core of your belief and trust in Him? What happened? What is making you falter now? Look up. Ask Him for help. It’s enough. Stop. You know it’s not working, so don’t prolong it. Why are you torturing yourself? You have two obvious choices which will have inevitable consequences. Choose God and enjoy His consequences or choose to live your life as you see fit and bear those consequences. There is no way that anything else will work out for you when you have been with Him, when He has unfolded and revealed His divine purpose for you, to you. Nothing else can take its place. Nothing. It’s just not possible. Someone else who has not had your experience in Him might say it is possible, but that’s the point. They have not had the experience but you have, and you know better and you know differently. Where are you going to run? Where are you going to hide? What, who, are you going to hide in?

He’s here. Turn around and give in to Him and grow in your purpose. I used to turn away too. I would run away from my divine purpose. I was scared, afraid of the calling that comes with purpose, petrified of the responsibility for people’s live. Now, my prayer is, LORD let me fulfill your purpose in my life before I take my last breath. And so here I am. Growing. I’d rather die and find out that I did not have to believe in God and Jesus after all, than die and find out that I really should have but now it’s too late, and so I grew, and I am still growing, and will continue to do so, non-stop. Like you, I have tasted and I have seen, and I have lived the opposite, walked the other way. No good. Grow.

Did you do something that you think or have been made to believe that He will never forgive you for? Some preachers and churchgoers are usually good at doing that to people. They are very good at making dark and condemning pronouncements over people’s lives. Already feeling guilty about their lives, their actions, and carrying the burden of shame, the people walk away and turn away from God. Are you one of those people? Did you forget that you are not looking up to Man but to God? Obviously, they have forgotten the God who they serve, the God who tells us to judge not, so that we not be judged. They have forgotten that, therefore now there is no condemnation. In their own spiritual pride and arrogance they have forgotten the God who told us to take the log out of our own eyes before we take out the twig in our brothers’ eyes. They don’t know Him, because if they did, they would understand that He will leave the ninety-nine for the one soul. You, are that one soul. Come back. Change your condition. Grow.

Perhaps you are not hearing Him anymore. You’ve gone to places, done things, that make you ashamed to come into His Presence? Don’t allow people, culture and tradition, all that glitters, to stagnate you. Don’t become limited. You have everything you need to grow and expand. Have you given up on who God is and what He has for you? Where are you going? What do you want? What exactly are you looking for? When did His light in you die out? Allow it to shine in you and through you again. Grow.

Remember where you have been with Him. Remember how you have walked with Him. Remember the times He came through for you, time and time and again. How can you forget? Why are you still where you are? What are you doing? Why are you still doing the things that you do? Admit your error and come back t Him. His mercy will prevail and you will be His Joy. Grow.

Growing is painful. It means you have to shed some things, walk uniquely, think differently and speak differently. It is not possible to fit in, as you grow in Him. We can try, but it will not work. Physically we walk this Earth, but in our minds and in our spirits we are operating in God’s kingdom, where, thankfully, He has the last say. He does not flip flop, He is not a yo-yo. There is no confusion about how He has set up His kingdom. There is no question, the results that come into one’s life when we yield to His reign. So many things, so many people, the dictates of the world system, have ruled over us, and look at how we have turned out. Look at what we have become, because of Man’s free-will. Is that what you want? Is that how you want to live?

Time to grow. Grow. Grow. Grow.

Depend on Him. Grow. Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. ~Proverbs 3:5 (NLT)

Trust in Him. Grow. For this reason, even though I suffer as I do, I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day. ~2 Timothy 1:12 Berean Study Bible

Be determined. Grow. Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame. ~Isaiah 50:7 (NIV)

God is with you. Grow. The LORD will fulfill His purpose in me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever–do not abandon the works of Your hands.~Psalm 138:8 Berean Study Bible

God will complete His work in you. Grow. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 1:4-6 (NIV)

Take your salvation seriously. Grow. Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. ~Philippians 2:12

Grow. Grow. Grow.

Tears Beyond Gold

Suffering. No one wants to suffer. In fact there are some types, forms and shapes of suffering that one prays from a pure heart that not even his or her enemy will suffer the type of suffering that he or she has experienced. Suffering. It undermines us, chips away at our resilience, consumes our self-dignity and brings us to undignified levels, decisions, choices and actions that we care not to ever discuss or reveal. Suffering. It makes us stoop to levels we never dreamed of, and do things that we never imagined we would be capable of doing. Some of us have been able to recover, to pull ourselves up and face the world, but the burning scars remain, always a reminder of what we had to do to survive, to live, to continue to exist. Some gave up the ghost; it was too much, they couldn’t take it anymore. Others are walking around dying on the inside, tormented souls terrorizing and abusing those around them, magnifying their own agony and creating inexplicable pain for others. Some are fragmented, knowing right from wrong, wanting to do what is right but finding themselves incapable of it.

I strongly believe that while we cannot and should not compare everyone’s pain, we can create something much more beautiful and a million times more precious than gold, by looking up to our Creator, God, our Abba Father. Some will be angry at that statement because when one has undergone or witnessed unspeakable suffering, the last thing they want to hear is a lecture about God. After all, where was He when the storms lashed their vicious waves? Where was His light when the darkness crowded in? Where was He when war took your loved ones? Where was He when you got raped or abused? Where was He when you lost your child, parents or siblings? Where was He when you lost your job? Where was He when sickness and disease sucked the life out of you or your loved one? Where was He when you did good, planned your life meticulously and saved for the future, but life happened and in blow, scattered everything you have painstakingly built? Where has He been all this time? What is He doing? Where is His great power?

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. ~Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)

God has always been there for us. There was no promise to any of us, that we would not suffer in this present world. God gave us a free-will to make decisions, make choices, on how we create and build our world. We have two choices, His way or our way. We decide; His purpose within us backed by His divinity, or our free-will human purpose backed by our carnal senses. There is a clear difference, and it is very obvious where our choices come from, by the results they produce. Let’s speak the truth. We are the ones who have created the mess, not God. He has played His role in creating us with purpose and by sending Jesus to reconcile us back to Him, so that we take the right path in life.

There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. ~Prov. 14:12 (NIV)

The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other… ~Galatians 5:17 (NLT)

How can we conquer our carnal nature to do good, so that even when we are suffering, we carry the ability to do and spread good. It is a battle of the mind, but it is not impossible to overcome, conquer and rise above our suffering. God was not ignorant then, and He is not ignorant now, He knew what kind of world we would create and He knew how to reconcile us back to Him and transform into our original state. God knows how to bring us back to His original intention and took it upon Himself to suffer our pain in order to gain understanding of our humanity, rescue and restore us.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are–yet he did not sin. ~Hebrews 4:15 (NIV)

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Isaiah 53:3 (NIV)

Suffering has been from ancient ages, not just in our present time. Mankind has incessantly harmed Mankind. Mankind has always created tragedy, trauma, misery and sadness. Millions have lost their souls to the devices and implementations of evils that Man is capable of. We fall prey to the thirst for evil and wickedness of those who have willfully determined to execute unspeakable acts of wickedness on others. The angry questions we ask God are not unfounded. Turning our backs on God appears to be the right thing to do. Destroying another’s life because ours was turned into a quagmire of pain seems to be the logical thing to do. Taking our own lives makes human sense, it’s the easy way out.  We blindly rage and plunge other people’s lives into darkness in vengeance, and whether or not they contributed to our demise,  we do not care. We just want to injure and wound someone, thinking that that will give us peace. As though that will take away our nightmares and bring us the freedom we thirst and yearn for. It only adds and prolongs our suffering. We need a clear and pure way out to heal and be restored.

Dare I tell you that indeed we can overcome this darkness that has taken over our minds? If we can somehow find the courage, the willingness, the piece of good, the divine purpose within to just try again, one more time, we can turn things around and our deep suffering will find ways to express itself in grace, wisdom and power. Our suffering will produce tears beyond gold. We can purpose through our own free-will, and we can discover God’s purpose in us, and minute by minute change our tears of agony, into tears of joy, change our tears of futility into tears beyond gold.

How can tears of such suffering be beyond gold? What am I talking about! What I am saying is that, God’s power, the authority and compassion of Jesus, the mentor-ship of the Holy Spirit, can and will sustain us, and transform our tears of suffering into a state, condition and mindset where despite our unmentionable agony, and shame, we choose to rise, and we choose to assist others to do the same, regardless of our own pain, tragedy and insecurities. The more we do this, the more it becomes a part of us and the more we heal and become whole. As that happens and we begin to assist others, extend our hands and heart to them, the more worthy our suffering becomes. As we take a deep breath and uplift others, as we stretch ourselves to come out of the darkness, God’s marvelous light shines out and through the darkness of our lives and penetrates the darkness in others, delivering them as we become delivered as well.

That, is the joy and beauty of tears beyond gold. Our lives and that of others, are saved, restored, illuminated, enlightened and transformed. We are given another chance to discover divine purpose in each of us, to prosper in it, not just to exist but to also thrive! Yes, when we realize and accept that the tears of our suffering, of our perseverance and our refusing to die, can be transcended into  tears pouring love, compassion and patience into another’s life, our tears surpass gold, because lives are saved, and Mankind is given yet another chance, a new beginning. Rejoice! You have done well. You have joined hands with God and have spread His unconditional love and saving grace. He will remember that and bless you.

In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire–may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. ~1 Peter 1-6:7 (NIV)

Let’s not give in. Let’s not give up. We will continue to spread His life saving power with our tears beyond gold. We will continue to water the lives of those who need the tears that we shed under agonizing pressure. Let the Earth reverberate soak in and reverberate in the virtues of our tears and not the darkness that we have experienced. It’s more than gold. It’s beyond gold. We have sustaining, comforting power, backing us up and carrying us through, and our tears will continue to spread priceless virtues.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. ~2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)

Cry, but come to God. Come into His Presence, activate His purpose residing within, find strength in Him, rest in His compassion, shine in His glory, be uplifted by His power, so that your tears, your suffering, your agony, will transcend beyond gold as you become a witness to His love and healing. That way, trauma will not trap and paralyze you, but will bring liberty to you and give you purpose, hunger and power to spread it to others. It is not impossible. You can do it, through God. Hold His victorious hand and let your tears beyond gold flow and affect the Earth and Mankind, in a divinely beautiful way.

If You Understand This

“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” ~Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV)

Understand that God is not about religion and rituals. He is about you getting to know Him deeper and deeper. He is about reconciling you to Him, so that He can transform you and transcend you into your original form, beauty and glory. If you understand this, you will do what it takes to discover your purpose in and through Him.

God is about relationships, wanting special unique moments with you and only you. Those moments are birthing places where you become one with Him and discover yourself deeper in Him. You are able to see yourself, through His eyes. Make time for those alone moments with Him, just you and Him. Don’t call it loneliness.

Develop an absolutely yielded spirit to God, like a child to his or her parent. Believe that He Himself longs to bring out the best in you, because the best in you comes from Him. He was not idle when He created you. He created you with intention and pride.  He believes in you and sent you here for a reason, on purpose! He built you, so, understand that only He truly knows who you really are and what you are capable of accomplishing through Him. Seek God and ask Him for what His plans are for you. If you submit to Him,and Him alone, He will put in the work in you to bring out your purpose.

God will take His time to illuminate and enlighten a yielded mind and heart. It Does not matter who you are, what you’ve done, what you have become, what you think of yourself, or what people say about you. You can have all kinds of junk and labels, but yield and see how He will bit by bit restore and transform you into your original self created by Him. That’s where your purpose lies, in His original blueprint for you.

Ask Him what His blueprint is for your life. God what have you put inside of me? God why did you bring me here? God, what do you want me to do, where do you want me to go, with whom, how, when? Wait for His response, be patient, hold tight, wait, He will surely respond. Don’t rush. It is difficult, but wait. Don’t be in a hurry! God does not think and act the way we do, neither is He moved by our emotions. In other words, our emotions do not confuse Him. He is unchangeable and He knows what He is about. His mind is set to bring us to an expected good end, so He cannot afford to allow Himself to be carried away by our sentiments and feelings of wanting things, right now! Understand that we have to be divinely schooled into walking in our divine purpose.

It is for us to know, beyond a shadow of doubt, that we are on this Earth for a reason, and believe that God who created us, who created our original form, knows our timing and our season. Don’t allow yourself, things of this world, people who influence your life, or, your condition, situation or circumstances to push you away, or ahead of God. In His Supremacy, He works with divine precision and excellence. Let Him, by His Holy Spirit, take the lead.  He will lead you to people, or bring people to you, who will genuinely sense who you are in Him. They will genuinely assist you in discovering, developing and operating in your purpose you according to God’s plan for your life. Such people will assist you authentically, no competition, no envy, no jealousy, no misusing your gift and purpose, because they have already discovered their purpose and are secure in it. Their only focus now is to grow deeper in God now and to support others to do the same. Once you have experienced that confidence, security, peace and joy that unavoidably come with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, you cannot help but hope that others  do the same. You want them to know what you know, and have what you have.

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life. ~1 John 1:1 (NLT)

Understand that Man can only know and do so much, but God knows exactly what to do, what to say, where, when, how and with who. Ask God to align you to His purpose and will and have a willing heart to follow. He will not tell you everything all at once, you will not be able to contain it all at the same time.

Ask God to change the way you think about purpose as defined by Man. God’s purpose is a treasure only He has put in you and only He understands how that treasure should function and be established through you. While you think you are waiting for God, God is actually waiting for you to decide, whom will you serve this day and on wards? Will you decide to allow Him by His Spirit to activate His purpose in you, or will you continue to pursue futile methods which only bring you despair and frustration?

Understand that in your pursuit to know your divine purpose, you can ask God questions. What am I built with? How does it work? Where can it work? With who can it work? What keeps you up at night? What is it that you truly wish you could be doing? What is that one pure, beautiful thing that nobody knows about because you think you do not have the ability to accomplish it, but yet you hunger and thirst to do?

God loves questions. Jesus loves questions. The Holy Spirit loves questions. In fact He is here to teach us and if we yield our humanity to Them, and stop thinking logically and rationalizing and analyzing everything, and just give it all to Him, you are on the right track He will never leave you nor abandon you. Understand that He will finish what He starts with you. Just YIELD!

Man complicates God, God is not complicated. He is so deep, mysterious and endless but yet so simple, it will shock you. It is difficult for us humans to wrap our minds around that. Ask Sweet Holy Spirit to breathe on God’s purpose in you and bring it to life. Tell Him you are ready for Him to activate it and to teach you how to walk in it. Go on and ask. Ask Him who you are. Ask him to explain. Ask Him to teach. Eat from His Hand. Stay at His Feet. Live and breathe Him, and it will all unfold.

Understand that you don’t have to be endlessly perfect. When you falter, and you will, pick yourself up. Get up, press on and press in. Drag yourself into His Presence when you are tired, exhausted and your heart, mind and soul cannot take it anymore. You must be convinced that He is with you. You must believe that He wants only the best for you.

Understand that as you spend more time with Him, you begin to discover your purpose. As you do, start practicing your discoveries, little by little, step by step, one day at a time. Don’t rush it. There are no shortcuts here. The lessons are thorough and are for life. Your transformation into recognizing, developing and implementing will not happen overnight. Take the time to ask questions, search, discover and build, step by step.

Understand that your purpose does not require you to chase after fame, stages, platforms limelight and greatness. This is not entertainment. Your purpose is already great and will make room for you to enter depths, paths, journeys and places that you cannot even begin to imagine right now. What is required of you is to simply acknowledge God, yield to His Spirit, and hang on to His unchanging and faithful hand. The platforms will pursue you.

Understand this. Stay focused on seeking God, be jealous with your time with Him and He will be jealous with His time with you. In other words, you give Him your attention but you can never beat the attention that He will give you. As you prepare, through His schooling, your time and your chance will surely appear, and you will be ready. You will not go through missed opportunities. It is one of the most painful experiences, to miss time and chance opportunities. It is heartbreaking and only the strong can regain their hope and faith after a missed opportunity, and determine that no matter how long it takes, no matter what, they will stay tuned and focused for the next round of time, chance and opportunity.

They will come around again, Understand this. And this time be ready.

Inexplicable Cravings

You are looking for power, look inside you. Study who created you, how He created you and why He created you. If you care about your life and destiny that much, sit at His feet and ask Him questions. Soak in His Presence and glory. If you understand and accept that you are created by The Infallible God, in whom there is no beginning and no end, that the fullness of the Earth is His, you will begin to see your real worth and value and function differently in life. You will start to thirst and ache for something deeper, something more meaningful than all that is around you. In fact you become more and more impatient with the things of this world and develop a deep yearning for that something more. Healthy, divine, inexplicable cravings start growing and glowing inside you.

A longing grows within you and you begin to search for deeper fulfillment, but nothing works. Something is missing, and everything in you is calling out for it. Your carnal cravings, desires, lusts, human mind, human guarantees, become unfulfilling. All your senses put together, cannot quench the power of that hunger. Your carnal nature can no longer sustain and you there is an indescribable ache within. You become absolutely restless with life and all that it has brought to your doorstep. You are no longer impresses by life and all temptations and promises it offers you.  What is going on! It is purpose, created by God, calling out to you from within you. You want more. Look inside, discover it, find it, and start building it.  Purpose within, there lies the answer to your inexplicable cravings. Don’t fool yourself by ignoring it. It will not, it does not go away. It just can’t.

What is happening to you is that your God-given purpose is nudging you into who you should be. It is reminding you that it exists and it is pushing you to acknowledge its existence lest you are ignorant of it, or have knowledge of it but have decided to look the other way. Purposes admonishes you to look up higher and deeper, acknowledging God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. You can dampen it, deny it, run from it, but it will not go away, because it is within you. Wherever you go, it goes, because you carry it. You walk, wake, eat and sleep with it. There is no avoiding it’s presence, it will always find a way to resurface as a reminder to you, of who and whose you are, and who you should be. It boldly, without apology, informs and confirms to you that you were formed by God even before you were in your mother’s womb. It makes it clear to you that you were sent to Earth for a purpose, God’s divinity, established through you. Stop fighting God, you can’t, and you won’t win. Yield to Him. Two things will happen. You either give in to Him and exhale, or you continue to drown in confusion and disillusionment.

That purpose has a vision, and without that vision being fully accomplished, you can never be fully satisfied with your life. It’s not about your level of education, your status, your skin color, science, religion, philosophy, ego and intellect. Like it or not, admit it or not, there is a hunger residing within you waiting  for expression. It will continue to rise up within you, it will not stop. The more you yield to it, the more of God in you, the more of God in you, the better you become, the better you become, the more God’s glory shines through you. When you give God’s glory expression in your life, the more the peace, love and joy you’ve been thirsting for become an every day part and reality of your life.

Your divine purpose is operating from the standpoint of who God says you are. It wants you to reflect the image of His image that He has created your original and unique self with. How can you run from that? My two cents? Don’t bother. It’s best to redirect your thoughts, desires and steps to the source that made you, so that He can give you the power, wisdom and understanding on how to walk in your original purpose.

The beckoning of purpose will never stop, it will never go away. Part of its character is to illuminate you of its existence. It will fight you for your sake. It will battle with you to bring you into the fullness of God’s glory in your life. It wages war with your carnal nature, wrestles with it, in order to bring you to the divine heights that you should be operating and functioning in. Ignore it, and you’ll be miserable; always yearning and longing for that something more. Ask me, I should know. I tried running from it! Waste of time.

Allow purpose to develop you into your original state. Permit God to raise you and show you His power in you.  Give Him room for expression through you. Let God restore you to a point where everything you do and say, flows in and through divinity, so that your strength, courage, peace, joy, power and purpose in life will remain will remain intact, unbending and steadfast. It’s a painstaking, deliberate journey every waking day. But if you can only imagine the divine, expressing through you. How I crave for that! Don’t you?

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness… ~Genesis 1:26 (ESV)

But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth. ~Exodus 9:16 (ESV)

One of the benefits of discovering God’s purpose in your life is unusual, unfailing strength. It comes with the package. No matter how confused, unfulfilled, sad, empty and lost you feel, there is a deep strength that remains unshakable in you because you have discovered your divine path. True strength, true power, real empowerment, is giving God room in your life to shine through you. When this occurs you stay on course, and you are not easily derailed by every wind of doctrine and all that glitters. No!

If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. ~1 Peter 4:11 (NIV)

God knows, in this day and age we live in, in this present time, age and dispensation, we need strength that goes beyond our human capacity. Having the courage to come to God, asking Him what your purpose is, why He created you, what He created you with, where to find it and how to build it, gives and brings you uncommon strength. Not only that, there is a type of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, insight and discernment that develops within you. As we yield, and the questioning and arguments and debates cease, the truest sense of the word empowerment begins to flow in us and through us, as we walk in our God-given divine purpose. Live every breath with expression of His divinity!

Savior

What makes Him the difference?  Why believe in Him, this Jesus?  Why draw near to Him? What is the secret to Him? What is the secret to His existence? What is He all about really? Why is He still such an enigma and a mystery? How can one being draw so many questions and so much mystery? I have heard so many debates, and arguments against and for Him, and some make solid sense, yet that’s the point, Jesus does not make sense. At least not to the ordinary mind or eye. We would have to shed our so-called knowledge, wisdom and understanding, and get ourselves into a place of surrender to even begin to understand what He did for us.

Since ancient times, decades and decades before our time, and now our generation, He was and is despised. So our rejecting Him now is nothing new to God. I am sure that They knew what our reactions would be, but that did not stop Them, Jesus STILL came to us. That is why He is Jesus, filled with unconditional love for Mankind. Generations of humanity have turned to anything but Him. No matter how much His love has shone, no matter how many testimonies and evidence validate His existence, reality and truth, we still prefer to look the other way. We want anything, anyone, but Jesus.

He was despised and rejected[b] by men, a man of sorrows[c] and acquainted with[d] grief;[e] and as one from whom men hide their faces[f] he was despised, and we esteemed him not. ~Isaiah 53:3 English Standard Version (ESV)

He does not react toward us the way we would if He were us and we were Him, and He rejected us. In that case He would not be Jesus. He roles out mercy and not condemnation. He is not petty, neither is He distracted. He is zoned in on one thing, and one mission, completely absorbed in His divine purpose to reconcile us to God. Our throwing words and stones at Him, turning our back s on Him, and mocking Him, laughing in arrogance and derision, will not turn Him away. He is too empowered by and consumed with God’s unconditional love for us.

Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. ~Isaiah 53:4 English Standard Version (ESV)

With our selfish and clueless minds we refuse to believe that anyone, especially a god, not to talk of The God, would allow such a thing to happen to His own Son. If our spiritual understanding was unlimited and not shortsighted, we would comprehend the in-comprehendible.  If our minds, filled with science, culture, traditions, intellect and opinions and philosophies were free from bias and prejudice, then we would understand that that is how precious and valuable we are to Him. It’s difficult for us to understand that we are worth God doing what He did for us through Jesus, and Jesus answering to God’s call to bring us salvation. We don’t see our worth that is why we scorn, mock and laugh. Self-loathing, arrogance, guilt, shame, all get in the way of our spirits opening up to such painful yet beautiful sacrifice.

Everything is pure to those who are themselves pure; but nothing is pure to those who are defiled and unbelieving, for their minds and consciences have been defiled. ~Titus 1:15 (Good News Translation)

We have thrown all kinds of arguments, logic and reasoning about why it’s all nonsense, but we have not bothered to seek Him directly in order to gain evidence and proof of His Being, or lack of. Why do we argue with surety and pomp and gory and the echelons of intellect, if we have not bothered seeking Him directly, to see and have our own intangible answer about whether or not He is real? Try it, He’ll show up alright. Question is, will you be ready and prepared to handle it? Why argue and expound on something, Someone, you have not sought out to know? Seek Him out and let The Truth speak for Himself.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,
so he opened not his mouth. ~Isaiah 53:7 English Standard Version (ESV)

When He was being slaughtered for our sakes He did not say a word. However, in His unconditional love, if we seek Him we will find Him and He will utter words of love, peace, joy, wisdom, redemption, healing, restoration, transformation; words beyond the power of our minds. We have not even given Him an opportunity to show up. Open the door, let Him in, and when we would have done that, we can defend our thesis, debates and arguments. Like everything else we study and learn about, if our minds and consciences are in a pure state to discover Truth, you will find Him. No one will need to convince you, once you have had that encounter with Him. There will be no defense left. The choice will be to accept Him or walk away from Him, but you will no longer be able to argue that He does not exist. It’s just not possible, dear friend.

Jesus found His purpose; reconciling you and I to God, to bring us to salvation, simply meaning coming in to a better life filled with divine purpose and spiritual aide from Heaven in every area of our lives. Will you discover your purpose in Him? He certainly has one buried in you, but you’ll need His help to activate it. Why don’t you knock and ask? Don’t be ashamed, or too proud. He will not hurt you, contrary to what you have been fed with. If anything, His real focus is on your precious soul.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? ~Matthew 7:7-10 New International Version (NIV)

He simply needs some humility and willingness on your part. See for yourself. In fact, He came to us the way He did, so that even though He is the Son of God, He could, and still can, understand our state and condition as human beings. If He had not come the way He did, in human form, walking on this Earth, we would have argued that He does not understand us, that He is too far from us, and too disconnected. Yet He came the way He did, and we still argue that a virgin birth created by God, for the sake of purity, is not possible. What do we want? Do we even know?

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are–yet he did not sin. ~Hebrews 4:15 New International Version (NIV)

Our human minds cannot understand His divine mind, and instead of studying, learning and acquiring our own individual experience and truth, instead of observing without bias, we go off on a whole tangent about all the reasons why His name and existence, according to some, are a lie. If we can just step out of ourselves for a minute and explore, for your own benefit, I guarantee you, we will be undone by His love, mercy, peace, joy, protectiveness, guidance, abundance, generosity and grace. Let’s try yielding to Him first and hear His mind. Let’s not permit our minds to deny us such great divinity.

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. ~Romans 8:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

Our generation is a  highly intelligent generation. I think that is a very large part of the problem. We know too much and we don’t need anyone, and certainly have no need for God! Or so we think. Regardless of our rejection, God, the complete embodiment and symbol of unconditional love sent Jesus, sacrificed Him, for our sakes. Whether or not we accept that, it did not, does not, will not, stop His unbending purpose to reconcile us to Him. He is God. He cannot go by our will to reject Him, He will go by His will to save us from ourselves, and bring us into the abundant life He has for us.

Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief;[g] when his soul makes[h] an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. 11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see[i] and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. 12Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, [j] and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, [k]because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:10-12 English Standard Version (ESV)

Even after we mock and reject Him, even though, “out of the anguish of His soul”, He gave His life for us and, “he poured out his soul to death”, we still refuse to accept Him for Who He is and why He came to Earth. We are mindless of Him yet He has given us His everything and more!

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. ~Psalms 8:4-8 English Standard Version (ESV)

As powerful as He is, The Creator Of The Universe, He has come to us, in Person, and we can say no to Him. The question remains, is that advisable?

Stop for a minute, take deep breaths, slow down the arguments, and think. THINK.

Take Over!

pexels-photo-2014774
Photo by Luis Quintero on Pexels.com

You are walking around, looking all beautiful or handsome. Nobody knows, they cannot see, how haggard you are on the inside. All they see is what you present on the outside. They see the smile, the joy, the kindness, the compassion, the strength and the patience. They don’t understand that it took God to build those virtues inside you, that they so easily enjoy, and sometimes take for granted. Nothing about you shows that you are about to run dry of those virtues. You are tired, because while you give those virtues to the world so generously, your own world appears to be falling apart, bit by bit, piece by piece. You don’t show the world, you don’t take your pain and agony out on the world. You refuse to consciously hurt others as an outlet of your own agony. Deep down you know that this is not the time to crumble, this is the time to ask God to take over.

You allow very few, the closest, to peek into your crumbling world, and to the rest you keep up a high spirit, laughing with them, urging them, uplifting and encouraging them, because even in your quagmire, you have a grace upon you, you have purpose built and flowing through you. They keep you focused, strong and unbending. But you are beginning to feel yourself cracking, the weight too heavy to bear. You need another level of grace, another level of joy. You need to dig deeper and speak a language that only God can understand, without you even having to move your lips. And your cry is a deep yearning for God to take over. Take over. Take over. Let Him take over, before you do something stupid.  Don’t be ruled by your emotions and make a bigger mess.

You are breathless, darkness seems to be crowding in. Your fingers are slipping, your mind is losing its grip. Yet you are steadfast, yet out of that darkness you know light will come and shine through, and you remain anchored, because greater is are the purpose and the spirit that are in you, than this current demise. Somehow, you know that this is not the time to give up, this is not the time to throw in the towel, but this is the time to give more, to smile deeper, to be kinder, to keep a steady mind. Your life and the lives of others depends on it. This is when you cry out, God, take over! Spirit take over! Jesus, take over! Undo me, and take me to the next level. Here I am.

You know, that even when it all appears nonsensical and crazy, and that it would be easier to fall victim to, to succumb to your challenges and allow them to consume you, you refuse to do so. Why? Because there is a higher calling, there is a higher place, there is a Higher Being Who will take over, take over, take over!  He knows your capacity, He knows how much you can endure, and He uses what you are going through to stretch you. And when you say its enough, He is really just getting started, because He knows more than anyone else, even more than you, the treasures He has put inside you. He knows the gem that you truly are. He allows the fire of life to cook you, He permits the pressures to form you, and in your humanity the effect is too much on the mind, spirit, body and soul. Let Him take over.

You are in the palm of His victorious right hand. He does not sleep, He does not get distracted, He is not confused, and nothing takes Him by surprise. He knew that this day would come and before you were even born, He was ready and well prepared. So ask Him to, take over, take over, take over. Be still, don’t try to fix it, given your emotions, you likely will make a mess of things. Through this extreme discomfort, you are birthing futures, destinies, as God’s plans, blueprint and purpose, unfold in you and through you, for your sake and for the sake of others. Don’t resist, flow with it. Don’t push back, rest in it. Don’t miss this very painful but glorious realm, don’t turn your back on it, don’t walk away from it, for there is a glory indescribable, there is a joy unspeakable, there are unimaginable destinies being delivered out of your painful patience. Believe it!

Only deeper wisdom, a mightier strength, an all knowing mind, an all seeing eye, can transform and transcend you into the next level of purpose. So let Him take over. Take over. Take over. You will be the better, and not the worst for it.

5Why am I discouraged?

Why is my heart so sad?

I will put my hope in God!

I will praise him again—

my Savior and 6my God!

Now I am deeply discouraged,

but I will remember you—

even from distant Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan,

from the land of Mount Mizar.

7I hear the tumult of the raging seas

as your waves and surging tides sweep over me.

8But each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon me,

and through each night I sing his songs,

praying to God who gives me life.

9“O God my rock,” I cry,

“why have you forgotten me?

Why must I wander around in grief,

oppressed by my enemies?”

10Their taunts break my bones.

They scoff, “Where is this God of yours?”

11Why am I discouraged?

Why is my heart so sad?

I will put my hope in God!

I will praise him again—

my Savior and my God!

The Master Craftsman’s Time and Season

To understand a thing you must know where it originated from. If it is broken, you must know the creator or have the manual in your possession, if you are even considering the thought of fixing it. If you want to bring it back to its original form, you more than likely have to take it to its original manufacturer. We seem to understand this when it comes to material and inanimate objects. We know that if the blender is not working, we can take it back to the store. We know that if there is a malfunction with a BMW we take it to BMW garage which will obviously have the parts that we need. But who do we go to, as humans, when we are lost, broken, rotten, tattered and torn apart, as human beings? Who is our originator?

Who do we go to when we have hit rock bottom, when the pain is too much and we believe that life is not worth living? Who should we run to when we can no longer keep up the pretense, falsehood and appearances? Where do we turn, when we have been rejected by all, when nobody understands us, and when we cannot find truth in or support from those in our sphere of influence? I can tell you who, our Master Craftsman, God. But we do not, most of the time. We want a quick fix, and we unwisely search for the wrong manufacturer and the wrong manual. We either conveniently forget, reject the truth that He made us, or, are absolutely ignorant of it.

We take our precious spirits, minds, hearts and souls to the wrong manufacturer or garage. How can God possibly fix, deliver and restore us? Some of us believe that He does exist, but that He moves too slowly, so we find our own ways to help Him help us, instead of leaning into His wisdom and His guidance, doing things in His own way and His own time. He knows how to rebuild us.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  ~Ephesians 2:10(NKJV)

It’s quite challenging to wait on Him, this I know. But, I also know that it is far better to wait on “slow God”, than to make decisions which will only get one in a bigger mess and a worse tangle. When all your parts are falling apart, come to Him! He knows the seasons and the times. He sees everything before it happens and before it ends. He knows how, who, what and when. Times and seasons change, but he is unchanging.

To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven.                                                                                                                         Ecclesiastes 3:1(AMPC)

Therefore, it is better to yield to Him and ask for divine guidance. Stop all the science, the philosophy and the intellect when you are in total darkness and at a loss for words. There is a time for all those schools of thought, but the fight for your life, the battle for your soul, is not one of those times. This is the time for the Master Craftsman to step in and transform your life in the way that only He knows how to do. Put your ego and your human wisdom aside when your life is at stake. Allow the all knowing God to undo you, and put you back together again. He knows all your parts. He knows your feelings, your thoughts, your shame, guilt, insecurity, anger, envy, jealousy, covetousness, selfishness and all the parts about you that you have built and acquired that are now bringing you down and pulling you through a dark tunnel. He knows your deeds in the dark but His mercy will carry you.

You have made all kinds of smart plans, had all sorts of what seemed like beneficial ideas, but none have played out as you imagined. Even the folks you thought you could lean on did not have the stability, the strength, the stamina, the know how, to keep up with and handle your groanings. And now you find yourself all alone. These are the moments that you look up for His help. God has been waiting for you all along, and knew this moment would come, but He will never force you. He knows what, where and how to fix, with divine perfection, but as omnipotent and omniscient as He is, He will not disrespect your space or enforce His will upon your free will, which He created you with.

There is a hole in your heart, a pain in your soul, dark pressure on your mind, which only He can make beautiful. Believe it when I tell you this, for your own liberty and joy. Now is your time to permit God to fix all things pertaining to your life, mind, spirit, soul and body. This is it. This is when you allow Him to put the puzzle and broken pieces of your life together with skills and knowledge which only He possesses. Whether or not you believe in His existence, for your own good, don’t you think it’s worth a shot? You have given everything and everyone else a chance, yet here you are. Think about it.  He is not slow, He is thorough and perfect, biding His time with you so that you come to the understanding that He works not only in times and seasons, but in a way that at the end of it all, the most important thing from it all, is that you would have discovered that there is a part of you crying out for Him and only Him, and His unconditional love for you.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.                                                                                                                           Ecclesiastes 3:11(NKJV)

Better to stop fighting, start believing and ask God to begin His good work in you. You will not like His methods, His pruning and His pealing away the layers you have built, but compared to where you were heading, and where you would have landed, His ways are preferable because at least there is a guarantee that you are in the right place, with the right Person and in the right hands. God, the Master Craftsman, your Creator!

So, even though it appears crazy, and does not fit in to the code of conduct of this present world, turn to Him, before it’s too late. It does not, and will not make sense, compared to what you are used to, and it might draw mockery from those who have known you, as you take this step. But ask yourself, “what if this is the decision that prevents me from falling into complete destruction? Is it worth sacrificing my ego, my intellect, my philosophies, science and the opinions of others for the sake of knowing God Who can fix me?”

For your life, for your soul? Yes! It is worth the sacrifice. The Master Craftsman’s time and season is here, awaiting your approval, to come in, and take care of what you cannot utter, or even put into words.

Let Him in, dear friend, This is your life!

Original Magnificence!

Who do you say that you are? Do you know that you carry original magnificence in you?

There is what you call yourself, there is what people call you, and there is the name that God, who knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb, called you by. With your free will, you are in control of whose voice and name you choose to go by. Yours, people’s or God’s? What do you call yourself? How do you define yourself? What and who you choose to define you will determine your life. It will influence the choices that you will make, and those choices will become habit, and your habits will become you.

Who and what you allow allow and permit in your life will determine what you feed your spirit, soul and mind with. If you don’t know who you are, then others will give you a name, and usually it will be a name which they can use to control you and make you their puppet. If you are still unsure of how to define yourself, here is a gentle reminder to ask God, “who am I, truly?”

He knows who you are, who you need and what you need in this journey of life. Like it or not, He created you. God knows your strength, your weak parts, and your inability to activate the divine purpose and ability He put within you. He also knows that He originally created you with His own original magnificence, and will bring it out of you, if you seek Him for help. He wants to be able to do that, but you have to allow Him. It’s your choice. Gentle advise. Stop struggling alone, without Him, stop going round and round in insane circles that bring you negative and empty results. It’s not worth it, life is too short and time is not waiting for you. Forget about the moments you missed, don’t live in regret. God can, and will, bring you up to speed! Discover His purpose in you, answer the call and determine to press in and bury yourself into God and His magnificence and you will deliver not only your own destiny, but that of others. Like it or not, believe it or not, the truth is, many, God, people, Heaven and Earth, await your magnificence in Him. Shine!

Moses said to the LORD, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me. If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.” ~Exodus 33:12-13

People want us to bend this way, turn this way, do this, do that, be this, be that, talk this way, don’t talk this way, think this way, don’t think this way. It’s never enough for them. A lot of who they want you to become, is more about them than about you. For the most part, while they are asking you to change, adjust and adapt, and repeat, they are not doing anything about self-improvement or looking in the mirror, neither are they looking out for you, but only for themselves. Very, very few, are unselfish enough to discover who you truly are, what your real name is, and what that names means for you, and for the world.

God is saying, you are more than good enough for Me and I am ready to dust off the other names that pull you down. I want to bring out of you the name that will magnify the magnificence I originally created you with. There is a reason why God gave you the name He gave you. It was not a mistake. You are not a mistake. He deliberately formed you with brilliant magnificence, in accordance to His extremely unique purpose and plan for your life. That purpose is also connected to others. Their lives are at stake, waiting for you to discover, recognize and function in your original state. Wake up and get yourself ready!

At what point do you say enough is enough? At what point do you stop, think and say, “wait a minute. I have a name, and it is mine, I own it, and I get to choose who I become!”  When do you stop and define yourself?  How long will it take for you to realize that it is crucial for you to discover what you are made of and walk in the revelation of that knowledge? Hopefully, you choose to become someone wonderful, full of what I call the scarce commodities of love, patience, kindness, empathy and generosity. Hopefully, you become who God says that you are, FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE. ~(Psalm 139:14)

Choose wisely.

6 Among those who were chosen were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 7 The chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.

8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.

9 Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel, 10 but the official told Daniel, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your[c] food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men your age? The king would then have my head because of you.”

11 Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, 12 “Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. 13 Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.” 14 So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days.

15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food. 16 So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead.

                                                                                                               ~Daniel 1:6-15 (NIV)

A gentle advise. Go with, and by, what and who God calls you. It is the only reliable and steady way. He is unchanging, unyielding and unbending in protecting, guiding and leading you. He is relentless in bringing out His purpose within you. God has more hope for you than you do for yourself. He has more faith in you than you do in yourself.

Who do you say that you are? What are you feeding your body, mind, soul and spirit with? Go with God. Choose His magnificence in you.  Choose His purpose within you. Your true name is hidden in His purpose for you. Don’t allow yourself to be called by any other name. I speak to you from the heart, and I tell you, it is not worth being called and named by any other voice, not even your own, but by His and only His. People, circumstances, conditions, situations, traditions, cultures, trauma, tragedy, material things, jobs and titles, will give us another name. But only the name He calls us, will withstand every challenge, every other voice, and bring us into purpose-filled, victorious magnificence.

Choose wisely, dear friend. Choose wisely.
